Introduction Developmental psychology is the scientific study of changes that occur in human throughout the life span. The development starts from infant until old age. Childhood is a time of tremendous change, but people also continue to grow slowly and develop during adulthood. It is a continuous process with a predictable sequence. These developmental changes may be influenced by genetic factor, environment factor and maturation factor. There are three types of human development changes: physical development, cognitive development and psychosocial development. Our group member’s choice is psychosocial development in early childhood. Early childhood is the children that range at the aged 3 to 5 years. Erik Erikson’s theory of†¦show more content†¦He came up with a new theory called psychosocial theory. This theory is focusing on personality development. He proposes a life-span model of human development which includes eight successive psychosocial stages. Each stage associate with conflict or crisis that the individual must encounter and successfully resolve (Justin T.Sokol, 2009). For example, the first stage: trust vs. mistrust. The first stage of Erikson’s theory occurs between birth and one year of age and is the most fundamental stage in life. In this stage, the infant is uncertain about the world. They start to questioning many thing like is that guys a good guys? They develop mist rust which is good because they will be more aware of the environment. That’s why when a children is given to someone they didn’t know, they will start crying because they have develop mistrust with stranger. This picture is taken from the reality show that I watch recently. The babies who trust the father start crying because his father feed him something that he doesn’t like. The baby will develop mistrust whenever his father wants to feed him after this. He will be more careful and picky because he develops mistrust whenever his father wants to feed him. They go to extreme measures, even disregarding people’s safety and turning groups against each other to reach their goal. Topic Sentence 1) Extremist groups shower hate all over the groups of people who oppose them, and they become relentless in their attempt to do so. (Evidence 1) – â€Å"Anti-choicers harassed [George Tiller’s] patients, day in and day out. They bombed his clinic. They shot him once before. They filed lawsuit after lawsuit and even convinced local prosecutors to launch criminal investigations and trials. † (Analysis 1) – The Extremist pro-life group attacked the abortion doctor with hate. By harassing his patients and trying to convince prosecutors to go against him, they set a solid, horrid example for others that do not share the same views as Tiller. These hateful attacks ultimately led to Tiller’s murder by gun at The Reformation Lutheran Church. (Evidence 2) – â€Å"To recruit members and spread its beliefs, the American Front has collaborated with various neo-Nazi and skinhead groups to stage protests and rallies that demonize Jews, blacks, and other minorities. (Analysis 2) – Just to try and get members into the group, the Extremist group staged many protests and minorities put down many minor groups, They promoted hate into the people who listened to and watched them as they did so, and therefore spreading the hate all they could. (Example 3) – â€Å"Anti-Semites and racists have found video-sharing websites, such as YouTube and MySpace Video, an effective means to promote propaganda and hateful material that might not otherwise b e seen by the public. Internet users who search video-sharing sites will often find anti-Semitic and racist videos when looking for information completely unrelated to the videos due to misleading tags and titles that extremists attach to the videos when uploading them to the sites. † (Analysis 3) – Extremist group are using the internet to spread hatred of other groups worldwide. By doing so, it makes it even easier for them to promote the hate and then hide the evidence if their website or video is caught. This must be stopped. Topic Sentence 2) Extremist groups use violence in reaching their goals and emphasizing the point they are trying to make. (Example 1) – â€Å"On June 10, 2009, a white supremist who believed it was â€Å"time to kill the Jews† took his gun to the Holocaust museum in Washington, D. C. , and stated shooting upon entering. † (Analysis 1) – In believing he was doing the right thing, this Extremist tried to make his point by attacking the Holo caust victims museum. By attacking this museum, he made a big stand by basically showing with his violence that he supported what happened in the Holocaust. Example 2) – â€Å"[ETA (Euskadi Ta Askatasuna)] has waged a relentless campaign of violence against the Spanish state, targeting politicians, policemen, judges, and soldiers. In 1980 alone, ETA was blamed for 118 deaths, and in 1995 it nearly succeeded in assassinating Jose Maria Aznar, then leader of the opposition, now Spain’s prime minister. † (Analysis 2) – The Extremist group ETA is taking their beliefs to an extreme extent. By killing and trying to assassinate a respected leader, they are using the violence to try and scare off and weaken their opposition. Example 3) – â€Å"Since 1977, there have been at least 17 attempted murders, 383 death threats, 153 incidents of assault or battery and three kidnappings committed against abortion providers in North America. † (Analysis 3) â⠂¬â€œ These are solid facts that exemplify all of the violence that have taken place from just one Extremist group. The groups cause pain and suffering in North America, and they feel as though using violence is one of the only ways to get their point across. (Topic Sentence 3) – Along with all the hate and violence that these groups reate, Extremist groups try tearing people further apart with their actions and words. (Example 1) – â€Å"The Kach movement was most famous for its platform calling for the removal of the entire Israeli-Arab population from Israel and transferring them â€Å"elsewhere. †Ã¢â‚¬  (Analysis 1) – The Jewish Defense League is another Extremist group that prizes themselves over all people. By trying to kick the Israeli-Arab population out of their homeland so they can take over, they cause horrible tensions between the people. These tensions would almost most certainly lead to more hate and more violence. He further opined that his approach always remains confident and he thinks himself to be at the same level as his employees while motivating them. The manager had smart ways of tackling his staffs and he thought it would help to create a good impression on the employees. The manager thought that according to him a person could lead only if he was good listener of things, he should be able to work as strong support by the side of his staffs, and he must have the capability to convey the people about the things. The manger always acclaimed his managers and CEO to be his leader. The reason for this was that he has received great help from them and was nourished by them (Jones and George 2015). The officials who was on the head of the company also maintained the same idea that the manager had regarding organizing his staffs and employees. The manager got the inspiration of organizing the concepts from his boss and CEO. Hence, from this it can be said that the organizing strategy of the c ompany was structured and organized. As the interview progressed, the manager was asked the way he mentored others. The manger had a concept that he mentored his staffs by being easy to talk to and he thought it was necessary to have the knowledge to answer the quarries of the staffs. The concept of achieving the goals was important to the manager while working with his fellow mangers and the subordinates. The manger had this view that he liked to work as a team and they achieve goals by working as an entire team and not individually. The concept that followed this was that how he dealt with the conflicts that rose in the groups that he worked in. The manger believed that open conversations was always better (Carroll and Buchholtz 2014). He would prefer to listen to both the sides and he would finally consider the solution, which will be good for the company. Further, the view of the ethical issues came to the forefront that he faced while playing the role of manger (Weiss 2014). The manager said that some issues were t he availability of staff and he faced problem while approving leaves of the staffs who have not informed about it from before. The arguments related to this were a problem that the manager faced. When asked was it important for him to be aware of the diversity in workplaces, he replied that it was important as the work place had multiple culture and different sexes it was necessary to maintain that. The final concept of organizing things was whether the work place diversity gave the organization a competitive advantage (Steinbauer et al. 2014). Therefore, while concluding this can be stated that the manger had well organized ethical plans to keep the environment positive in the work place. He prioritized his employees and he intends to solve the serious issues of the employees not being a leader but being a normal employee and as team.
